OpenAI’s CTO, Mira Murati, has announced her departure after more than six years with the company. She plans to focus on her own research, which will likely open new opportunities in the field of artificial intelligence.

Along with her, two other key specialists have left the company: Chief Scientist Bob McGrew and Vice President of Research Barret Zoff. Their departure may influence the direction of research, but it also presents OpenAI with the chance to revise its strategic goals and bring in new experts.

In light of these changes, OpenAI plans to restructure and strengthen its commercial focus. It is expected that Sam Altman, one of the company’s founders, will acquire a stake, further solidifying his role as a key figure in the company’s management. This move could signify further commercialization and attract investments to accelerate the development of new AI technologies.
