The non-profit organization Fantom Foundation is establishing the Sonic Foundation and Sonic Labs ahead of the launch of the Sonic blockchain.
The new Sonic organization will feature innovative partners and will be responsible for managing and treasury functions. Sonic Labs will focus on developing decentralized applications for the ecosystem. The new network will be capable of processing 2000 transactions per second (TPS) and will have a transaction finalization time of half a second.
