A former Google researcher has published a book

In which he explores the concept of singularity in detail. The key ideas presented in the book are as follows:

  1. By 2029, artificial intelligence will reach the level of general intelligence (AGI), allowing it to reason at a level comparable to or exceeding that of humans. This will transform many aspects of our lives and work.
  2. In the 2040s, it is expected that humans will merge with AI, creating a new hybrid form of existence. This merger should lead to a significant increase in life expectancy, the elimination of many diseases, and an overall improvement in quality of life.
  3. There are serious concerns that the achievement of singularity could pose threats to humanity, including the potential for extinction or loss of control over technological systems. These concerns raise important questions about the safe development and implementation of such technologies.
