The market capitalization of tokenized treasury funds has exceeded $2 billion. According to the RWAxyz platform, this figure has doubled over the past five months.

As of the time of writing, the total value locked (TVL) in these funds has reached $2.03 billion. The previous record was set in March 2024 at $1 billion.

According to the chart, one of the key drivers of this growth was the BUIDL fund launched by BlackRock. In just six weeks since its launch, this investment product has become the largest among RWA funds, attracting assets valued at $503 million.

This impressive growth indicates a rising interest from investors in tokenized assets and products linked to real-world assets (RWA). In the context of global economic instability, RWA funds are becoming an attractive alternative to traditional financial instruments, offering more stable returns and access to assets that were previously available only to large institutional investors.

With the increase in the capitalization of RWA funds, experts anticipate further growth in this sector. New funds focused on the tokenization of real assets continue to emerge in the market, which may further strengthen RWA’s position in the global financial ecosystem. In the future, this sector could significantly transform traditional approaches to investment and asset management.
