Despite Ripple’s significant victory in court, the question of whether XRP is considered a security remains unresolved.

Recently, Ripple achieved a significant victory in the securities lawsuit when the judge dismissed most of the claims. However, the same judge added uncertainty by suggesting that XRP Ripple might be considered a security, requiring stricter regulation.

This decision, along with conflicting court rulings, highlights the lack of legal clarity in the U.S. crypto industry, causing confusion not only for Ripple. On June 20, Judge Phyllis Hamilton dismissed most of the claims against Ripple, leaving only one point for consideration.

While this outcome is a significant victory for Ripple, questions about the status of XRP as a security still remain.
