Elon Musk’s AI company, xAI, has started testing an iOS app for its chatbot, Grok, which was previously available only to X platform users, according to TechCrunch.

The beta testing has begun in Australia and several other countries. The app provides real-time internet access and offers standard AI capabilities, such as text processing and image generation based on user prompts.

“Grok is an AI-powered assistant designed to be as truthful, helpful, and curious as possible. Get answers to any questions, generate stunning images, and upload photos to gain a deeper understanding of your world,” the official press release states.

The company claims that its image generation AI surpasses “photo-realistic visualization” and is subject to minimal censorship.

Additionally, xAI is developing a web version of Grok.

Previously, the chatbot was available only to paid X subscribers, but in November, the platform began testing a free version with limited functionality in select regions.
