Venezuela’s government has intervened to regulate cryptocurrency mining and ensure a stable electricity supply. The Ministry of Electric Power plans to disconnect crypto mining farms from the national grid to regulate energy consumption and ensure a stable supply for the population.
The move is in line with the National Cryptocurrency Association’s statement that crypto mining is banned in Venezuela.
