Stablecoins USDC and EURC, issued by Circle Mint France, are now officially available in the European Union under the new MiCA regulations, announced Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire.
Thus, Circle has become the first and only stablecoin issuer to receive a license under MiCA.
Before these regulations took effect on June 30, some cryptocurrency exchanges delisted euro-denominated stablecoins, such as EURT from Tether.
