Google has added the ability to interact with the Gemini chatbot directly within the Gmail app on iOS, significantly simplifying email management.
The Q&A (questions and answers) feature, first introduced to Android users at the end of August, is now available to iPhone owners with a Google One AI Premium subscription or Google Workspace accounts with Gemini Business, Enterprise, Education, and Education Premium add-ons.
With this tool, users can quickly find the information they need. For example, you can ask questions like, “How much did the company spend on the last marketing event?” or request a display of all unread messages from a specific sender. Gemini can also highlight emails based on key topics, making mailbox management more efficient and intuitive.
Currently, the chatbot works with email data, but in the near future, its capabilities will be expanded to include integration with Google Drive. This will allow users to search for documents, files, and other important information directly through the chatbot, enhancing the convenience of interacting with Google Workspace data for business and educational users.
